About the Role
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Perform wiring, cabling, and conduit installation for various electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments to ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, and contractors to complete projects within specified timelines.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Possess a valid Wireman PW4 license issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Wireman PW4, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to use electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
